Celebrating Picture Book Month

Standard

Picture Book Month is an international literacy initiative that celebrates the print picture book during the month of November. Every day in November a picture will be celebrated by many of us that are champions for picture books because he/she thinks picture books are important. In this digital age where people think print is dead picture books (the print kind) need love. There is nothing like the physical page turn of a beautiful crafted illustrated picture book.

It’s been a while but this year I’m once again posting a PB review a day for this special month. All the kiddos I have taught over the years know how much I love picture books and I have used them from the tiniest 3 year olds up to adults.

I hope you enjoy those I share over the next few weeks.
